This song was written by me in the summer of 2014 and released in the Spring of 2015 on my EP entitled #TuReyBebe. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with 2 of my favorite producers Doble A y Nales (Los Presidentes). I wrote the song in my basement and recorded it in CasaBlanca Studios with Nales in Lynn, MA where we started the beat. Some changes were made with the pitch and tempo of the song and once it was perfect to my liking we began the recording process. This was the first time i recorded with Nales so i didnt know what to expect. And boy was I in for a treat!!! This was one of my more difficult and rigorous sessions ever. So rigorous, we had to split it up into 3 sessions just to give my voice time to recover. Nales did not let me get away with anything, and just when i thought i hit the note perfect, he said "Let's do it again." haha
But, as i came back each time to finish up, Doble A had added his flavor to the beat and i was loving what i was hearing. These two producers like to work their own way, but let me tell you, it is very effective! No wonder these guys are Grammy Nominated Producers. Once in was done, it was pretty much downhill from there. We just changed whatever we wanted and they told me that they wouldnt bounce it out til I was completely satisfied. To be honest, as much as i love the song, I think they love it as much as I do. All in all, i was completely satisfied with the end result and I look forward to working with these two again. They are like family to me! Maybe next time we can do some perreo!!!! Something I know these two would kill for sure!!!!
