1. “KIN” came in life on the 25th of September, 2019 and finished on the 22nd of February, 2020. 

2. “KIN" is a very special track to me, as it has been the fundamental to a new sound which I call "Orchestral Bass" which for the most part been my sound since then.

3. “KIN” means gold and it comes from the Japanese word Kintsugi “joining with gold”

4. The Plate and the golden touches in the artwork share the philosophy of Kintsugi which is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold  — a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections.   “You won't realise your full potential until you go through the tough times,” Kumai says.   Which i believe we have been experiencing as a planet for the past few years. 

5. “KIN” is my first release of 2022 and the first of a series of independent releases that I’ve been working on.

Let Me Go

"Can't Go Back" has been in the works for over a year. I fell in love with the instrumental while creating it, especially writing the piano parts. 
Finding the right vocalist was really hard, but David Shane immediately captured the emotional vibe I was going for.

“Anthem” is finally OUT! 🎉

Wanted to take a step back and give you guys something a bit different with this one.

long story short

Creating "Anthem", I wanted to take inspiration from my roots of mostly rock music, but also blend it with a more festive, future bass sound.

Drowning means a lot to me, i've put so much emotion and effort to make it as perfect as possible and i'm pretty happy to be finally able to share it with you all.

*long story short*

I wrote this song while I was in the middle of my summer residency in 2018. 
It was after a long break from production and I was feeling homesick;I wanted to create something that would remind me of home. 
The title “Drowning” refers to all the anxiety and stress I was experiencing at the time, even though I was living on an island doing what I love, which many would say is the best way of living. 
I love how Like Lions captured a similar feeling with his lyrical work; referring to a broken relationship and how he was feeling like he was “drowning.

For me this track symbolises the transitions you experience between situations. As I was moving away from the busy season of June and July into the chill vibe of August, it made me think about how I'm coming back to Athens soon and that how much of a transitional period from summer to winter this month is, just like the relationship described in "Resist". 🤵

“Tokyo” is one of the oldest songs I’ve had in the vault. I wrote it almost two years ago, yet it’s one of my favourites. It’s kind of weird, but when I finished it, it gave me this feeling, and I wanted “Tokyo” to be the title no matter what. Julian Comeau recorded his part along with “Still Kids”, the other song we have together, and absolutely nailed the vision I had in my head; to create a perfect bridge between pop and electronic music.”
