Chill Trips

This is the first mix of my new project Roads in D, where I'll be recording live DJ Sets in the car while my friends are driving. In this case, we started the trip at 5AM and went straight to the Braulio Carrillo road. It's literally a street inside a mountain that leads to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. In terms of music, this particular one combines melodic vibes with a progressive warmth that gets blended with the exquisite low end of the techno-selected tracks. Enjoy!

Roads in D #1 - Braulio Carrillo Costa Rica

First mix of my second DJ project -Chill Trips-. This time I played at 6AM in the middle of beautiful mountains from San José, Costa Rica. It was shocking to me how green everything was (Teletubbies flashbacks coming). You can visit this place called -Finca las 6 Maravillas- and enjoy nature close to the city. I really love the set and the combination of soft melodic tracks with some electro-pop that never fails to lift me up. Enjoy!

Chill Trips #1 - Puriscal Costa Rica

The second DJ mix of -Chill Trips- inside Costa Rica. The first time I was able to get to the top of Cerro Pelado I knew I wanted to play some music there but I couldn't, I wasn't even a DJ at that time. That's why I visited once again with my friend Cliff at 3:00am to catch the sunrise and mix progressive house tracks that matched the amazing place and the moving feelings I got. It was hard to get there even with the little equipment I had (you can notice my face of tiredness the entire video) but It was worth it. I really encourage you to visit Cerro Pelado, for me one of the best views you can get in my country.

Chill Trips #2 - Cerro Pelado Costa Rica

I really enjoy listening to this one because it has a lot of energy and makes me dance no matter where I am. It's just a small taste of what type of House music I love.
I'm so grateful to live in Costa Rica and be able to record something like this, visit Playa Santa Teresa but don't forget to respect nature!

Sand Entropy - Session 1

Deit is a Costa Rican-based Electronic music artist. His musical journey started during the pandemic after studying at the local Ableton Certified Training Center, DJLab.

His inspiration comes from different artists such as Ben Böhmer, Hernán Cattaneo, Marsh, Massane, Shallou, ZHU, Twenty One Pilots, Wos, Tame Impala and many more. His favorite musical instrument is the human voice, that’s why you will usually listen to a big range of vocal variations (even his own) during his sets and tracks. Diversity is a key component of his identity as an artist and as a human being.

In the world of DJing, Deit combines soft melodic deep house and electronica sounds with a mixture of powerful sometimes progressive low-end trance and techno patterns. The goal is to hypnotize and disconnect the audience from the daily routine and heal together while dancing. 

Deit is currently working on two DJ adventures. Roads in D invites us to join Deit and his friends on a road trip while we listen to his inspiring live mixes; Chill Trips takes us into the wild areas of the world for a more intimate experience with nature and interesting cities.

Writing thoughts and song lyrics became one of Deit’s main passions. His first single is already available on all the streaming platforms under the name “Así Es Como”, a song that tells the story of a new beginning.

Deit’s dream is to help improve the world with his music and his words, sharing a message of authenticity, humanity, a wake-up call, one step at a time.
