"Fire it Up", written by Demi Grace and produced by California based, producer and DJ, D3fb0t,  is the fusion of EDM and Afrobeat music. The duo both went to high school together in the San Francisco Bay Area and reunited to create music. This is the first release of the I Am Fearless EP during "Fearless Fridays" series. I Am Fearless will be released 5.30.2014.

Demi Grace is a Recording Artist, songwriter and model of Nigerian descent based in New York City. This amounts to a brief introduction to listeners that are unfamiliar with this multi-faceted artist.
 
Demi Grace is a fusion artist that infuses electronic dance music (EDM) with soul, afrobeat, pop and reggae in her music, which is far from the norm.
 
Here is one artist that loves to have a good time and still manages to convey very clear messages in her music. Almost always portraying a story blended purely with rhythm and melody.
 
In I Am Fearless, Demi Grace fiercely teams up with a diverse group of producers to create a exotic flow. Some of the producers in this project are originally from Kenya, Nigeria, and Hawaii to name a few. Demi Grace even tags along, Brittish "up and coming" rapper Kimmy in "We Are Not Alone" which is a blend of EDM meets Hip Hop, unlike anything you've heard out now. 
 
Demi Grace's sound is reminiscent of early house/pop music but at the same time futuristic in nature, urging one to listen over and over again.
 
An EP such as I Am Fearless will have it's audience dancing, singing along, and anticipating the release of the full album. We hope you enjoy the EP as much as Demi Grace enjoyed creating it!

“We Are Not Alone” is written by singer and model Grace “Demi Grace” Ayorinde, lyricist and model Paul “Kimmy” Ijadunola and produced by 2014 Nigerian Entertainment Awards nominee: Music Producer of the Year, Duncan Daniels. Although based in different regions of the world; Demi Grace, Kimmy and Duncan are Nigerian and were all raised in London! Demi musically teamed up with Duncan Daniels in NYC after being introduced to each other at an event Demi hosted alongside famed Nigerian artist, Banky W. After an hour or so in the studio, Demi and Duncan collaborated on a composition they both were working on before they ever met! After the song was created, Demi approached Kimmy about putting his touch on the song with a thought provoking verse. Soon after, “We Are Not Alone” was created.

“We Are Not Alone” is music and lyric for the soul. The lyrics channel the vulnerability of the listener and simultaneously provide support to emotion it provokes.  In this song, Demi reaches for the listener that feels depressed, hurt, unheard, unseen and literally tells them they are not alone. Devastated in the wake of the tragic kidnapping of the girls of Chibok, Nigeria, Demi decided to also dedicate this composition to the victims of the missing girls and the girls themselves and brings awareness to the heartbreak in the music video. With a heart of service, Demi’s hope is that this song and video will bring more awareness to the missing girls, their families, the victims of extreme misfortune, internal and external war. Demi’s hope is that this song will reach those that feel alone and know that they are not alone.

Demi Grace began her music career singing back up for various rock bands in Los Angeles around 2008. Under the mentorship of Grammy nominated producers, songwriters and A&R such as Roger Ryan, Kevin Shine, Chip Days and more she wrote and self-released her first single “Want You”. “Want You” gained airplay in Brazil and Mexico in the first 8 weeks of its release and was placed in the feature film Phantom Halo! After self-releasing her first EP I Am Fearless in July 2014, Demi signed a distribution deal with Hitman Records, a partner of Universal Music Group Canada.  She gained commercial airplay in Maryland, New York and Georgia and her music is currently in rotation on several internet radio stations across the U.S. including Pandora, Spotify and Tidal. Grace also went on to perform around the US including opening for international acts such as Davido and performing at the House of Blues Sunset six months before it’s close in August 2015. In January 2016 she landed her first commercial spot for Softsheen Carson’s Dark and Lovely brand singing the theme song for their new Fade Resist national commercial. Demi Grace's music has also been featured in several blogs and magazines and newspapers globally. Locally, the rising star has been reviewed by We Plug GOOD Music, Breaking Records Music Blog, Traphic Magazine, Urban Girl Magazine and many more. Internationally, Demi Grace has also been interviewed by Dubai’s leading newspaper Khaleej Times and in some of the top international Nigerian blogs such as Zen Magazine Africa, Not Just OK, Spice TV Africa and many more!
