What do you get when you combine the theme of a character who was forgotten by everyone because of what happened to them with the theme of another character that went through those events?

Caught in the crossfire of someone else's game and left to be forgotten by the world they once new. Left to be forgotten for being broken and out of use, she was made a background character to what should be a world that knows her name.

But is it any better than before?

Should one stay in the background, to shape the world for the possible better, or go against to your fate and proclaim your place in the world. 

There's a shared sense of tragedy between the two that I feel drew people in. Lapis and Gaster are lost in worlds that moved on without them as if they never really mattered. 

I'd like to give attention to WizardMoon on tumblr for the initial inspiration of this.

There aren't a whole lot of songs associated with Rose Quartz in Steven Universe, let alone ones that would fit the tone of Heartache, so I put together something original (minus the parts that are clearly 'Stronger Than You', but I digress).
