Selek is a DJ and producer from Belgium who burst onto the drum and bass scene in 2022. Inspired by seeing Netsky and Camo & Krooked at Dour Festival in 2010, he expresses his love for the genre into music that gives him a sense of pure freedom.

Influenced by talents like Wingz and Waeys, as well as legends like Bredren and Alix Perez, Selek has released singles and an EP on Accelerant Records, with his track “Ocelot” earning a feature on Vision Radio in 2024. A self-taught producer, Selek is driven by a passion for connecting with audiences through his music, both in the studio and on stage.

Our second release features an original track from label founder, Garrett Jr. With heavyweight Amen breaks, rave-era pads, and techno-inspired stabs, So High fuses speaker shaking sub-bass with soulful vocal cuts recorded in collaboration with Jo Hadler from Wilder Vocals.

With the incredible DJ Sofa on remix duties, the track flips into a deep, thumping Jungle roller - stripped back and driven hard by pounding drums and crisp 808s.

This cross-border link-up connects Garrett’s Bristol roots with Sofa’s new school Jungle style out of Helsinki, Finland.

Former known as Dorian, he created a new project called IAMDOOMED to swap his style from neuro/jumpup to the “deeper” side of Drum and Bass. You should definitely keep an eye on this Austrian all-round talent.

With his early beginnings in producing, he felt that his releases should be put in the limelight. That’s when his career as a DJ started and his tunes began to thrill the masses. Backed by the instant support of the crowd, he jumped at the chance and fittingly  released a Jump up EP as his Debut in 2014: Whore Island EP on Switch! Recordings.

Once he had the ball rolling, one release followed another and several labels scrambled to get a piece of him: His tunes came out on Delta9, DARKMTTR, Viper Recordings, New Playaz, Mainframe Recordings, Innerground Records and so on. As he had built up a reputation, his tracks got supported by well-established names of the DnB scene, like Pendulum, DJ Hype, Friction, S.P.Y, The Prototypes, Annix, DJ Bailey, Rene LaVice, Levela, Roni Size, Heist, and many more.

Always a welcomed face at clubs local or abroad, he himself states that he doesn’t want to nail himself down to specific subgenres, which his diverse supporters are pleased with. This is plainly audible when it comes down to the producer’s œuvre. Certainly an easygoing fellow with a knack for homemade perfectionism, we will surely hear about him in the years to come.
