I make music that makes me happy

I am a musician who has been writing music since I was 7 years old however I am just getting started recording and experimenting with different styles.  I have classical music in my background.  I am deeply inspired and write songs frequently. I am beginning to feel more comfortable writing music on my computer and am confident in the improvement of the content I've been contributing. The Low Mids is a project by Dusty O’Day, who has played in the Houston/Galveston music scene since the late 90’s. Dusty played bass for bands Kava Wine, CitiZEN Change, Studemont Project, and Delayed Therapy, among others. Heavily influenced by jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop and various electronic music, Dusty brings together his influences in a set of  instrumental lo-fi jazz grooves in his latest works, now on YouTube and Soundcloud.
