The first single from "Have a Bone", "Just a Dog" is also the first original song composed by dogs, written way back in 2013. Playing it live at Mackillop College for the first time in 2014, the ballad was very well received by listeners, who connected with Mills' powerful vocals, the emotional "woofing" in the chorus, the distressed howling solo from Wenlock as well as the eerie outro. Dogs assert that this song is best played live-as is the case with most of their songs, however they felt compelled to release a studio version for loyal fans who are having "dog withdrawals". WOOF WOOF
