RISING STAR EMILY BURNS RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT’

PRODUCED BY EMERGING LONDON BASED PRODUCER SOUND OF FRACTURES

Rising London based pop vocalist, songwriter and musician Emily Burns today drops her unique new single ‘Take It Or Leave It’ produced by Sound Of Fractures (Raye, Ritual and Miles Glyphers) – soon to set the internet alight with it’s subtle R&B inflections and tropical house textures. The track is her first single since the independent single release of HomeWrecker, which burst onto the upper echelons of the Hype Machine chart, seemingly from nowhere. The confessional new track explores a real-life friendship turned-romance, which ends up at an impasse and a decision needs to be made.

Home wrecker’s success would usually indicate the hand of a major label or high profile management company, but Emily’s rapid rise was the organic result of music blogs including Breaking More Waves posting her track, after they were impressed by her performance at T in the Park Festival. When the track hit Hype Machine, a flurry of industry interest ensued. Emily undistracted by this early buzz, carried on working on her music, keen to develop her Pop/R&B sound with writers/producers including: Emre Ramazanoglu (Ritual, Petite Meller, Jones), Jimmy Hogarth (Lianne La Havas, Sia, Amy Winehouse) and now Sound Of Fractures. 

With her vocals and songwriting already drawing comparisons to artists such as Robyn, Alessia Cara, Nao and Jessie Ware, fans including established artists as diverse as Paolo Nutini, Gabriel and Bryan Ferry, a super buzzy show at Great Escape Festival earlier this year and imminent plans for a follow up single – all eyes will be on Emily Burns in 2017.
