i put this set together to play on THE TEA with Caro and our session was postponed for the wind and snow and storm. felt like this one wanted to make it's way out into the world sooner than our rescheduled date so here we are. a collection of ambient, dubs, and moody downtempo beats. i called it dream sequence because it feels like that to me these days....

N1GHT W0RK is a DJ, Producer, Curator and Designer based in East Vancouver. 

As a beatmaker, N1GHT W0RK fuses his love for ‘00s Hip Hop and R&B with bass-forward sounds and shuffling rhythms borrowed from his favourite UK music genres. Building on this nostalgia, his DJ mixes weave minimal basslines, emotive melodies, sample chops and bouncing beats into future-forward blends finely tuned for sultry club experiences. 

As a member of Chapel Sound since 2014, N1GHT W0RK has been DJ’ing and organising events at various clubs and DIY venues throughout Vancouver. He recently launched WHEEL UP -- an East Vancouver event series aiming to connect community and like-minded artists who share a common love for bass heavy club music exported from the UK.
