Threads Radio: Heritage w/ GUNTER (08.02.22)

GUNTER, previously featured on BBC Radio 1, returns with an energetic dancefloor hit. Capturing his love for Brighton and desire to 'live in the moment', "now" is a sonic representation of hedonism and euphoria. Uplifting chopped vocals sit over the top of a slowly LP filtered piano riff - which echoed across that same beach as he dropped this at the seaside terrace party - Shake a Leg - that he runs.

The popular Brighton-based clubnight, Shake a Leg, is branching out... With tremendous success down in Brighton, the boys will be bringing their unique, up-beat sound to Bristol at the intimate Cider Box Taproom on Friday 1st December!

Early Mornings in the Rain

Following his self-released single, Early Mornings in the Rain, which received support from Jaguar's BBC Introducing show on Radio 1, GUNTER has gone back to the studio to produce a driving and energetic VIP Mix.

This jacked-up version of Early Mornings in the Rain blends breaks samples with 808 percussion and an 80s-inspired drum loop, aimed at club sound systems. The top end comes in the form of deep and hypnotic pads, plus a scattering of ambient samples. Influences include Special Request, Chaos In The CBD & Four Tet.
