4am is such a delicate timeslot; it crucially requiring engagement from a crowd growing tired, yet us also sensitive to overstimulation. This is a taste of how we do 4am. For this set, our vision adjectives were Tough, Techy, & Tickling.  I used a crop of older stuff from my coffer, Dao brought the new funk, and it turned into a fun time!

"For this mix I wanted to capture the essence of my time living and DJing in the Bay Area.  It was my objective to travel through the many different genres and sub-genres that influenced me during my time in this extraordinary scene.  The DJ mixes I grew up listening to in the late 90’s early 2000’s took the listener on a journey through valleys and peaks, time and space and left the listener feeling satisfied.   That was my intention with this mix and as you will experience, the mix is an adventure and a trip through Psy Tech, Progressive House, Electro House, Tech House, BREAKS, Future House, Bass House and even ends with some Glitch. Disco Funk Hunt for #LiveForLove

I was so stoked when Cheshire Productions reached out and asked me to make a mini mix along with 11 other Edmonton based music makers and shakers to help raise money for the Boyle Community Centre in #YEG. This year has been extremely difficult for those in compromised situations, and even tho it has been full of ups and downs for myself, I couldn't be happier to utilize my passion of music to help others in need. I hope the rhythms and flow of this mix takes you away on a musical journey by captivating your mind and getting your feet moving and your body grooving.

Always Be By Your Side — A Drum & Bass Set

haha has been hitting dance floors, festivals, and underground raves since 2005. Her early influences in dance music included Justice, MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, and deadmau5. Her time spent in the crowd developed a deeply rooted love for all things house and the ability for rhythm and sound to unite people. She entered herself in a DJ competition in 2017 and hasn't looked back since diving into the local music scene in YEG and opening for some of her biggest inspirations in house music like Pete Tong, Walker & Royce, Kyle Watson, and Chris Lake. ha ha will take you on a ride as she weaves tracks and inspiration from genres spanning from nu-disco to bass house. She is no joke when it comes to her dedication to making you groove on that dance floor.
