This is set was little experiment for me as I felt I was representing our club culture under the name of Berlin Club Festival . For me the berlin music scene stands for diversity and openness which I tried to have as the main themes for this set. I hope you like this more energetic and diverse sound.

In episode ten we spice things up a little with @roman_kaschuba from Cologne's @kollektiv33 .

It is often not easy to be a musican at the countryside: urban influences spread slower and opportunities are limited. For Roman influences like Haseland Magnetschallplaten and the Anklang parties in Osnabrück were these occasions that surely had an impact on him. From there on he dedicated himself to music and music production.

After he moved south and called Cologne "home" his first digital releases followed soon, which eventually led him to Kollektiv 33. As of now Roman clearly has arrived describing his music production in the following words: "In my pieces I progress a lot of what happens around me. When something really gets to me, a new track usually comes out of it."

For this podcast Roman combines funky elements with dark disco tracks. This one hour mix varies from tempo, style and mood: New synth sounds to ebm! 
We are definitely shaking from left to right and can't wait to hear the resident of Kollektiv33 play live hopefully very soon.

HERTZ geht in die zweite Runde! Nach einem unvergesslichen Opening begrüßen wir im Frühling die beiden Techno-Ikonen Ø [Phase] von Token Records und Sisyphos Resident Yetti Meissner (Stil vor Talent).
Gemeinsam mit Journey to Tarab starten wir schon um 18:00 in den Abend. Bis 22:00 wird draußen unter freiem Himmel gefeiert, bevor sich die Türen des Clubs öffnen.

A dance is a way to get to know yourself.
A chance to get to know yourself anew.
What a gift!

A dance is a sacred ritual of aliveness, a cleansing process in which we free ourselves from the attachments and disconnecting programming of the old and attentively, with our whole being, create the new together.
And each of us has it in our hands to contribute to the ascent.

It doesn't matter where you are.
Your work is infinitely valuable.
Your being is where the new comes from.
No separation.

Because the energy flows where we put our attention.
Reality is created by what we choose to live.

moment by moment.

Gestures, expressions, sound, vibration imprinted in eternity.

Decide wisely how and with what you serve.

hier ist also mein neues Set, wie ich es ursprünglich bei meinem Gig bei Ecstatic Dance Darmstadt gespielt habe, und ich möchte einhergehend damit einige Gedanken dazu mit euch teilen.

Ein Dance ist nicht bloß ein Dance.
Es ist nicht bloss eine weitere Möglichkeit neue Leute kennenzulernen.
Ein Dance ist ein Gebet.
Ein Dance ist ein kollektives Gebet bei dem unsere tanzenden, schwitzenden Körper gemeinsam und zur gleichen Zeit im gleichen Raum Wahrheit manifestieren.
Ein Dance ist eine Möglichkeit sich selbst kennenzulernen.
Eine Möglichkeit DICH selbst neu kennenzulernen.
Was für ein Geschenk!

Ein Dance ist ein heiliges Ritual der Lebendigkeit, ein Reinigungsprozess bei dem wir uns von den Verhaftungen und abtrennenden Programmierungen des Alten befreien und aufmerksam, mit unserem ganzen Sein gemeinsam das Neue erschaffen.
Und jede*r von uns hat es in der Hand zum Aufstieg beizutragen.

Egal wo du gerade stehst.
Dein Schaffen ist unendlich wertvoll.
Dein Sein ist woraus das Neue entsteht.
Keine Trennung.

Denn die Energie fließt dorthin, wo wir mit unserer Aufmerksamkeit hingehen.
Realität wird geschaffen durch das was wir zu leben wählen.

Johnny Lee Johnson vol. V - exotic Matter

Its all about drum and base.
You won´t hear to much detailed melodys on this one but you will a lot of O/Y, Hans Klangholz and the great Drossel and Kopfüber Labels (Nerdfact: Killertune "der kleine Mann" by O/Y was already released 2016 on Kopfüber in a diffenrent version). Actually this was planed to be Tape No. 6 or so because it doesnt really represent the style I play...   but hey, I couldnt help it, that shit is just too dope :)
