I am Idh is a hip hop group made up of two brothers. Dr. J and JFK from London. They enjoy an eclectic taste of Music from rap to raggae, classical, Jazz, Afro Beats, Makossa, Samba, Lounge, Chill out and some Indie Music. Their influences include Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Dj Quik, Outkast and Fela Kuti. They started rapping when they were back in high school with their class mates. They each took turns rapping rhymes from their favourite rap artists whilst one person made the beat by drumming on the desk. One day they decided to try and rap their own lyrics and make their own songs. So they snuck out of school during sports day to go to a friends house nearby to go and do some recording. As they started recording the name “In Da House” came about because they used to make their recordings in a house. I am Idh have performed on numerous stages including Hague Hip Hop in The Hague Netherlands. They have also reached the Semi Finals of Live and unsigned in London.
