The fourth Applied Magic release comes courtesy of Komenda, two alluring Süßboys from the flatlands of the North German Plain.

All tracks are unique in their own little way, just like the minds that created them. A manifestation of the idea that art must constantly move forward, that there are still new ideas and uncharted territories out there. You just have to seek them out.

Tunno could be best described as the sound of a dying dial-up modem, sending stuttering morse code to the depths of interplanetary space. Reminiscent of 90s bleep sound, warped and filtered through a prism of contemporary, cutting edge dance music.Guaranteed goosebump material!

356 really has its own pulse. 5 to the floor, straight yet broken, an everchanging, perpetually repeating mantra that just sticks in your head and never leaves you again. An unlikely earworm if you just let it catch you.

French hypertalent INVŌKER's remix for Tunno takes the original and wraps it up in a warm and cozy blanket. Classic Detroit pads meet a colorful, almost Balearic sound design with the monochromatic, angular original melody still shining through, transporting it from outer space to outside - somewhere near the beach.

The whole package is topped off with an artwork by David Kochs, who is not only a singular producer and DJ but obviously a really good designer as well.

We’re following Guillaume Le Marois for quite some time now and he’s luckily keeping us up to date with his productions. And boy he’s very productive and quick. No only he sent us his originals with 'Moments', 'It All Ends in Supernova' and 'Kinein Kinema' but also a stunning interpretation of 'Moments' by Aera. We already attempted to have Ralph on board for another occasion, but it didn’t work out back then and since good things need time, we’re even happier it does now.

The title track got all the ingredients of what makes INVŌKER tracks so unique; a driving bassline, house elements, a beautiful lead melody and very carefully selected distinguished sounds to round it off.

Aera takes up on these elements and gives 'Moments' a darker touch. Where he really hits the nail though is the last part of the track, when the synth line gets full attention and lifts the remix to another level.

'Kinein Kinema' picks up the pace a bit; It’s a very straight forward track that always finds a spot in our sets, not matter the size of the dancefloor.

'It All Ends in Supernovae' has been the so called missing track according to Adrian Schweizer. As perfect as the previous tracks are, to complete the record we needed something like this for the more melodic parts of our sets. Just beautiful!

The French artist opens his treasure box for us and presents three tracks that enchanted us right after the first listen. It starts with the track Slow Burn, which finds its origin in a conversation with Kristian from Âme the early stages of a DJ set and building tension. INVŌKER has translated this idea into his sound and in an impressive tune that keeps the energy through out all the 6:33 min. The second track I:Hope kicked us right from the beginning, written in the middle of the pandemic, INVŌKER says. The track features a deep bassline filling up the room and holding up the light of hope. "Blinded By The Noise" rounds up the package, tying the tracks together with its sound design. Are We Dreaming?
