J-Dove Swain was born in Greenville, NC, but grew up in the small town of Roper, NC, in Eastern NC. J-Dove has never met a stranger and he is known for his positive personality. J-Dove’s music consists mostly of R&B and Hip Hop with lyrics that speak on real life experiences and feelings - real life experiences and feelings that he has experienced. He wants others to see that you can be knocked down by life but with the motivation and with the power of God you can build yourself to rise up out of the trenches.  He continually grinds each day to be a better person, pressing forward against all odds and life’s curve balls. Never judge a book by it’s cover, you might miss an amazing story.
