Ever feel a little badass?  If not, do you want to?

In support of your badassery (is that even a word?), I have a classics-heavy November mix.  

The world is complicated right now, and the days are getting longer in the northern hemisphere. If you are feeling a little down...consider this a musical prescription to boost your mood 🙂.

There's a lot going on in this mix - some energetic house, some vocal dance, and a fair dose of electro-pop.  (Of note is a 2023 remaster of the JRMX Club Mix of Jessica Sutta's 2013 hit, 'Again' - too good to be forgotten!).  The focus here was the theme rather than new tracks.  Hope it hangs together!

My wish for all of this month is that we embrace our inner badass - not the sort that places us above others, but rather just confidence in knowing our strengths and weaknesses.  (It's ok. Really!)

JESSE BOYD brings infectious energy to every set, often seen throwing down moves just as hard behind the decks as the crowd in front of him.

Born in New Zealand and now a fixture in Melbourne’s thriving club scene, Jesse has spent the past several years refining a sound defined by bold, groovy basslines and serious punch. Refusing to be boxed in, his sets flow seamlessly through House, Tech, Minimal, Hardgroove, and the occasional touch of Garage-keeping dance floors guessing and grooving all night.

A regular at some of Melbourne’s most iconic venues; Poof Doof, onesixone, Storyville, Circus, Electric, and Pawn & Co. Jesse has also supported international heavyweights like David Penn, Dennis Ferrer, Weiss, and Rudimental to name a few. His growing national presence includes headline shows in Sydney and Brisbane, further establishing him as a key name in Australia’s electronic music scene.

He has landed himself on the stages of Australia’s biggest festivals, including Beyond The Valley, Wine Machine, Summer Camp, and Mardi Gras Laneway Party. His versatile sound has also seen him at major events like the Australian Open and the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
