'Heaven', originally released in 2019, served as a benchmark for what modern house music is. The essential record from Ben Westbeech and KON's The Vision project dominated stages around the world, receiving support from a plethora of top house artists; Gerd Janson, Danny Krivit, Horse Meat Disco, The Blessed Madonna, Groove Armada and Eli Escobar to name just a few. 

'Heaven' went on to be remixed by Nightmares On Wax and Mousse T., cementing The Vision as ones to watch in the coming years. Now, one of the UK's most respected and diverse house DJs and producers Groove Assassin takes on the debut release, featuring MOBO nominated artist and Westbeech's longtime collaborator Andreya Triana. The prolific selector, remixer and producer interpolates warmly familiar music from house legends to form 'Hallelujah In Heaven', a stomping, rough cut of house and an example of excellence in the genre.

The Shapeshifters return to Glitterbox with their stunning dancefloor belter ‘Try My Love (On For Size)’, this time along with a classic disco remix by Dr Packer. Teni Tinks, a session vocalist and arranger who has worked with the likes of Rudimental, Quincy Jones and The Jacksons, lays down fresh vocals on the Sharon Redd anthem from 1980, now laden with fresh horns, strings and arrangement on the Club Mix. The king of disco re-edits Dr Packer slows the composition down, highlighting the impressive instrumental with filtered vocals beneath for a more classic sounding version of this wonderfully life-affirming record.

After a foray into exotic psychedelia with his ‘Keramas / Harpanet EP’ (released in April on Anjunadeep), producer / DJ / keyboardist Moon Boots returns to his jazzy house foundations with ‘Tied Up’. ‘Tied Up’ is the first single from Boots’ newly announced 2nd LP Bimini Road, which follows on from Moon Boots’ debut LP First Landing. SoSure Music continue their commemoration of ‘The Godfather of House’ Frankie Knuckles and the productions he created with long time writing partner Eric Kupper as ‘Director’s Cut’, looking now to their 2011 hit ‘I’ll Take You There’ featuring Jamie Principle. 

Having already featured on 'The Director's Cut Collection' LP, 'I'll Take You There' now gets a single release. The much sought-after 'Director’s Cut Classic Signature Mix' features alongside remixes from Moplen and Dimitri From Paris. The expertise of Italian edit cornerstone Moplen is enlisted to sprinkle his magic on a new remix for 2019. Drenched in luscious organs (courtesy of Dom Scuteri), Moplen expertly re-works the original with an extra slice of spiritual goodness. The Dimitri From Paris Re-Edit (from the 2011 original release on Nocturnal Groove) is also included.

'I'll Take You There' is out on vinyl from Friday 26th July 2019 with the digital and streaming packages available from early August.

Up first, disco royalty Joey Negro delivers his Live And Direct Mix, weaving in melodies and grooves with exquisite percussion and keys that give the record an authentic disco sound. Up next, veteran producer Paul Woolford delivers his remix of the track.
