JVCKFROST - SNOWPIERCER

TRACK ONE OF THE TRILOGY EP

SNOWPIERCER is inspired in sound and theme by the 2013 film of the same name, featuring sampling from the soundtrack to the movie by a personal inspiration of mine, composer Marco Beltrami. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic ice age and features extensive scenes with violence and an intense, fast-paced storyline. The detuned screech lead I used in this track combined with the fast-paced course of the track and BPM change from 152 to 134 is intended to be a representation of my perception of the film's storyline as a song.
