This track has been a longer writing process than some. I have had many versions before this mix, but this is the first mix I have made public. Initially, I spent much time on writing the chorus. I ended up making 7 different choruses before I found this one. I went for a classic synthwave sound that reminds me initally of a night at the arcade.   

With this mix I tried to get a good blend of the sounds that i use together to make one effect. I also seperated the drums and started to eq, and put reverb to them. I played around with the idea of making this song a slightly different structure with no second verse and going straight to the bridge and also adding a third act showstopper. At this time, i cant imagine changing it unless i feel the directional change is needed when putting down the vocals. 

I the next mix, I plan to make the drums more smoothly automated and blend together better. i plan to get a better edit on the cymbals and find a better blend for the synthesizers. I plan to add a piano or a guitar for the chorus mainly and a face-melting guitar solo at the end. With almost all of my track, I typically add vocals at the end of my mixing process. The vocals will come when it feels polished enough to add them.
