US born and Birmingham, UK raised singer / song writer, Leon Zai creates a mellow blend of Pop, RnB and soul in his distinct and smooth sound. Leon grew up singing in church and started writing songs at the age of 16. By the age of 18 Leon knew it was time to try and create a career in music left the UK to pursue his dreams of being a singer in Los Angeles California. After separating from a label and attending the 1500 Sound Academy, Leon now resides in LA Leon and is currently focused on writing for/developing other artists. Leon will be releasing his first artist project Savor in 2024. Leon Zai’s goal as an artist is to create music that heals and uplifts others, while shedding light on experiences as a third culture, Indian-Bengali creative.

As a songwriter Leon is versatile having written pop, R&B, faith based, k-pop, and electronic dance music. Notably a song he co-wrote with Wu.Am.I, “I Love When It Rains in LA”  has raked in 1.9 million + streams on Spotify. He also co-wrote “TYE DYE” which was released by K-Pop artist JinE in 2023.
