With Louise Gold it always seems to come down to keeping on the move constantly.

Like a shark, circling the oceans of various musical styles , she takes a good chunk out of everything that swims her way, 
mixing effortlessly Ennio Morricone, Americana, whining wurlitzers and surf guitars into her luminous pop songs.

Recorded with producer Guy Sternberg after her band’s first appearance ever at this year’s SXSW, the songs on the upcoming album „Terra Caprice“ urge forward, no matter what.

Be it on horse with the cowboys in the wastelands of a Plattenbau Western or running with wolves; be it floating smoothly underwater as an amphibian superhero or navigating the mined territories of human relationships - Louise Gold’s songwriting stays in motion. As does her sublime voice - ranging from elegantly high pitched to a raw gnarl and back.

My cover version of John Lennons song, using the sound of the orbit of Venus and Neil Armstrongs lunar heartbeat for orchestration.

"My original plan was to use these sounds to put together an instrumental, that would try and resonate the experience of Neil Armstrong in being in a place, where no one ever was before. I imagined he must have felt peaceful and exhilarated at the same time, a bit like being in love with someone and finding out that this person loves you back.

While I was working on this I went to lunch and „Oh my love“ was on the radio. While I had heard the song very often before, this time the line „everything is clear in my heart“ struck a note and I realized, that this song expressed exactly, what I thought Neil Amrstrong must have felt, while he had the moon all for himself for a moment.
