Recorded in 2023 using a mix of modern and vintage studio equipment and techniques. 'Colours' is the perfect blend of the Modern Pop sound and Synth-Pop of the 1980's. Funky guitars, soaring synths and soft falsetto vocals, all make for a chilled, laidback retro vibe.

Louis La Roche returns with his fifth studio album 'Admittedly'.

Limiting himself to synthesisers and techniques used in the 1980's, Louis set out to create a Modern Pop album, using only vintage sounds. The result is a beautifully nostalgic, soundscape journey, fused with contemporary songwriting. 'The Broken One' is the final single from the forthcoming fifth Louis La Roche album 'Admittedly'. 

It's a collaboration between Brett Ewels (Louis La Roche), Maddy Abela (songwriter for 49th & Main, Rules) and Ashley Alisha (songwriter for ITZY, LOONA, Oh My Girl). Co-written by Ewels and Abela, the song was influenced by the Italo Disco sound of the 1980's and the modern Synth-Pop/Dream-Pop/Disco Pop sound.

'Admittedly' is released September 1st.
