Was holding on to this for a potentially upcoming COVID19 compilation album. It hasn't dropped yet, and given the time frame on the last one, I suspect I'll have plenty of time for a new submission. I fought and fought with this for days, mostly the mix not arrangement. I'm still not 100% happy with the overall mix, but I feel the track is really nice and I wanted to share regardless. Built in GarageBand on iOS, featuring Blocs Wave, Replicant 2, Aparillo and Effectrix.

We're all stuck inside. It's kind of a nightmare. I got travel vibes while working on this (which seems to be a common theme in what I write) hence the title and art.

Stand By Red-eye

This was (and is) still slated for release as part of an aid for Australia compilation (remember the bushfires?). I've been sitting on this for about four months now, and I'd really like to just button it up and get it going. With all the COVID19 stuff going on, I really don't know when the compilation will be released. In any event, any funds earned from this will be sent to a charitable organization working on restoring Australia and helping folks out there. And if you can hang tight on the full compilation album I'll try to remember to link to it back here when it finally does drop. Thanks! -m

I finally got to use the vocals from this Blocs pack, I could never figure out a good fit for them and it just came together. Been toying around with this one for a few weeks, really enjoying the process in Nanostudio (pretty much the closest I've come to the sequencer in Reason, my all time favorite).

Reaching For Your Heart

Sat on this for about a month or so... pretty drained from everything going on right now (add to the whole pandemic, everything going on with the protests and riots). This is a culmination of all recent emotions in one neat package. There's sadness, isolation, but also hope. There's always hope I think.
