A Toronto transplant to Stockholm, Sweden, Marcus Bowden channels a lifetime of listening to Rap and RnB alongside a steady raving diet of Drum & Bass, Garage, Dubstep and Grime into his undefinable Grey area productions. His melting pot of influences tied into one hazy blend of melody, emotions and bass weight, anchored by an ever present soulful sheen.

"Don't Go" encapsulates perfectly his fluid genre- less approach to music. Shiny keys, mournful vocals, 808 claps, rolling Bass and ecstatic arpeggios combine to create a stand alone piece of intimate club music.

Man of the moment @stranjah gets to work on Bowden's "Don't Go" upping the tempo to 160 bpm and turning back the clock to 1994. Channeling the uplifting Jungle of Moving Shadow and Tom & Jerry for his appropriately titled "Ravin' In A Field Mix", Stranjah deftly hones in on the most euphoric elements of the original. Turning up the ecstasy to the boiling point, and adding more layers of melody and booming bass tones over top of a classic amen anchored percussive template.
