Rainbow-Candy-Pickle-Flavored Sourpops

This is the first episode of my new mix series, The Protoshoot. A recurring mix series has been something I've wanted to start for a few months but after getting laid off in summer 2024, I wasn't able to afford purchasing all of the new tracks that I wanted to play in my mixes. That situation put a pause on the idea until I recently started a new job. Now I have decided to move forward with my journey and start a monthly mix series. 

This first edition is an accumulation of some of the tracks I was really excited to play out but couldn't, as well as a few tracks that really caught my attention as I was planning out this mix. I had a blast planning and recording this mix and I am excited to continue sharing some tunes that I love with you all every month.

The Protoshoot 01

A few years ago, I was sitting at my desk before dinner time drawing comics like these…except really poorly done lol! 😂

Now my friend at the time wanted to start a comic company, and me wanting to work for Marvel one day was all in on it. 

Come a couple of months, I dropped all of that in trying to learn music production. Most of it was mere fun, hoping one day I could make meme songs. For some reason, that stuck more than drawing though, but drawing was always in my heart of all of this. 🖤

I’ve been picking it back up again, so I thought I could merge the two together in this newer release. Though, I still need to learn how to draw hands…🫥

…but my poor hand skills do come in handy when drawing monsters!
