I'm currently preparing for the next era of modus.
Because of that, I'd decided to spend all of 2025 working behind the scenes towards a big return in 2026, and hold off on releasing new music until then.
But then, this happened.

Snowblind is my favorite song of ALL time, period. I wanted to remix it ever since it dropped eleven (!!!) years ago, so imagine my reaction when they came up with a remix comp after all this time, I COULDN'T NOT drop everything I was doing and absolutely lock in.

The deadline was tight so I teamed up with Agente and started brainstorming right away - we couldn't decide on a key, so we ended up going for ALL of them - we came up with a theme that would cycle back and forth between a subset of the circle of fifths, changing & shifting around, you could say like a snowstorm ;)
The result was a very unique tune that came pretty much outta nowhere, and I don't think anything like this would've happened under any other circumstances.

Towards the end of last year, I wrote Reconnect - a song about walking the fine line between sanity and madness, and the lifelong fight with your inner demons. As used as I am to making music that tells very exotic and grand stories, I wanted to zoom in a little more this time, and explore the self with a more personal, introspective theme.

So I came up with this arpeggiated drop idea a few months ago, and Cristina's vocals fit really well, turning this into a Freefall remix, even though I'm pretty late to the party. That doesn't mean it wasn't hella fun to do though!
