i wrote this song in my first year of high school but it evolved into what it is now in the years following. it's sort of the iceberg of how my mind works along with my emotions revolving around the things I've been through and understand i need to learn from them and move on to greater heights because that can only be done if i let go off my chains acknowledging the difference between my dreams and nightmares.

Parasocial relationships  are one-sided relationships, where one person extends emotional energy, interest and time, and the other party, the persona, is completely unaware of the other's existence. 

I'm no psychologist but logically speaking there is probably a"spectrum" so...more serious in some people than others.

In many cases the person on the... Delusional side may be going through uncomfortable situations in their life or just might not have anyone and feel the need to have someone so they find life in someone or something like a book or a celebrity, forming a "bond" with them. Feeling seen and understood by the characters in the book or the celebrity and subconsciously use them as escape, feeling like they have something to hold on to. I myself I'm m no stranger to this. There's a difference between wishing to enter a book and live in that fantasy world with you favorite character and feeling like the characters know you and are your friends or family. The sad reality is that it probably stems from deeper roots and causes.
