"'Celadon Haze'" is the crystal doorway to a new dimension in regards to the style of my new EP. I’m thinking of it as a book of astral love spells, different facets of a diamond. Thus the musical production of the tracks is fairly varied, while still maintaining an upbeat tempo and glistening ethereal sounds throughout. One track is somewhat brooding and sad yet still chasing some quickly transforming, fluid energy. Another leans towards hyperpop and is a straight up cheesy love song, which was great to get out of my system. There’s a track in which I fuse some of my spoken word poetry aesthetics into a flowing darker narrative. I am excited to present additional tracks produced by @meviusmusic, a Brooklyn shoegaze artist, in addition to productions by Autumn Ludi aka @soulm4te and Galen Tipton.

The album is really a visuals collection. I am so honored to have worked on the four music videos, digital fliers, press photos, cover artwork, and face filter with the artists Metagasm @metametagasm, @serotines, @nicoleruggiero, @bobbottlenyc, Jarid Blue @kingmallard, @haleyvaracallo, @hestersunshine, Errol Basdeo, and Michael Tosner."

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Julia began formal musical training with the Austin Girls Choir by age nine, through which they were featured in the Ballet Austin’s production of the Nutcracker, and toured the country on invitations to perform from the White House and Disney World by age fourteen. They subsequently began performing spoken word poetry in Houston at venues including AvantGarden and Notsuoh. They studied guitar and flute, and began djing on vinyl at age seventeen in Austin, before moving up to New York City in 2008. They co-lead organized Bushwick Open Studios from 2009-2014, through which they established New York Times reviewed curated exhibitions such as “Seeking Space,” and an annual electronic music festival based in local venues including Bossa Nova Civic Club. In 2014-15 they stage managed Output Club in Brooklyn, where they worked side by side with headlining electronic artists to produce large-scale events. Since 2016 they have organized a performance and exhibition event focused on highlighting BIPOC artists working in experimental light art and electronic music, entitled CHASM.NYC. In 2020, just prior to the covid-19 lockdowns, Julia produced a sold out event at House of Yes (NYC) featuring headlining dj and musician Öona Dahl, where the artist presented immersive sculptural stage design, as well as a live vocal and dance performance. They have directed and filmed three music videos for the industry, including for artists Aerofall, Katie Rush, and Johnny Polonsky. Simultaneously to their music career, Julia exhibits artworks internationally and creates public sculptures for agencies of the City of New York.

"Lost Amulet" is the artist's debut EP.

ORACLE666 is about drifting into the liminal space between real and surreal, floating through ethereal pastel clouds, and dreaming future memories.

PhD in Post Human Dance is a slogan of Helsinki based AV collective and event series run by multidisciplinary artist Erika Shalii and CCI artist Maisa Immonen. Post Human Dance is a medium for studying future scenarios through organising events and creating audiovisual club experiences. Its a platform with a focus on modern hybrid club music and futurist visual aesthetics with elements of interactive new media. "Wings of Ephemerida" was compiled to finalize first 2 years of "Post Human Dance" platform's existence.

A mayfly Ephemeridae's live is brief. It lasts only one day, but no one would value this day as much as it would Ephemeridae.

Some people make you forget your own mortality and existence and i think this is something to be grateful for if you have met them or are about to. # blessed

We're excited to kick off the new year at TT & share "Once" with you. The release marks Symrun's long awaited return to TT, taken from his 2nd full-length album "What Do You Do?", available from 4th of March. 

The single ‘Once’ was written with the term/phrase ‘cute club banger’ in mind. The track’s meticulous production ensures the listener a cinematic experience which goes beyond the so-called conventional meanings of ‘club banger’, alternatively offering up a dream-like expedition into a spectrum of soaring sounds. Layering of kawaii samples, Symrun’s elated voice, complemented by the addition of chimes and bouncy trap derived hi-hats come together to form an immersive track. These uplifting elements give the listener an insight into the euphoric haven that Symrun has found within his music, something that is carefully demonstrated in a variety of ways throughout the entire album.

Producer-DJ hybrid onlytom brings a neon-soaked array of sonic implements to life in both their studio material and the clubs they grace. Originally from Los Angeles but now based in New York, they draw influence from dance music on a global scale. Over the course of their career, they've fused driving rhythms, effervescent percussion and synths, and precision-picked vocal samples into a vibrant collection of tracks that have carved out a unique place for their style in the worlds dynamic club culture. After a series of 2023 releases (including the breakbeat-charged “Chopshop” and pulsing cuts like “Almost There”) and guest mixes for NTS, Dublab, and Hotel Radio Paris, onlytom channels their broad range of influence and rhythmic skill into an uplifting, dancefloor-ready body of work.
