After a year off Niko The Kid & I (Otica) have finally found our moment to start a movement. Snacktime is everything we artistically envisioned for years and never had the opportunity to deliver through labels. Looking for a duality of emotion you can expect fun light hearted and heavy club heaters to dark and hypnotizing anthems such as this promo "Don't Stop The Music."

My release schedule is slam packed with a variety of content heard by you here first. Starting with this rolling bass line I have teamed up with Atlanta vocalist MEL to add sultry vocals directed straight towards the ear holes. Each upcoming track is a take on pulling the listeners strings through a wave of abstracted direction. Slowly my intention is to evolve the synthesis bringing a subtle ballad to life on the dance floor.

Thank you for listening to the beginning of a truly special journey I have been curating for over the past year. I am building on the inspiration of some of my favorite artists to bring something fresh to the table.

THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF HIGH ENERGY HOUSE MUSIC

“Talkin” is a first of its kind label collaboration brought forth by Cloverdale and DJ Susan; the label heads of Canada’s “Vibrancy” and California’s “Hood Politics Records”.

United through good vibes and a hankering for high energy house music, the two found themselves working together on a weapon of a track earlier this year, inspired by the forward thinking sounds of their respective labels. The result is exactly what you would expect from a collab of this caliber. A straight to the point, main stage peak hour anthem created for those “holy shit” moments on the dance floor. Combining the sounds of tech house, bass and garage elements, the two whipped up a real crowd pleaser that is destined to make some huge waves on the circuit this year.

Both having wildly successful years of multiple chart topping singles and number ones both on and off their labels, with releases on Repopulate Mars, Confession, Insomniac, Night Service Only, Techne, Sink or Swim, Spinning Records and more - these boys are carving out a name for themselves as mainstays in the scene.

  The two rising producers have confidently formed an alliance to bring you a first of its kind label collaboration. Vibrancy and Hood Politics both preach the same values and love for the art of house music. Two high energy labels bringing some of the freshest tracks around. It was a match made in high octane heaven.
