This is a remix I wrote to a Jake One beat. I heard MF Doom over it and was so inspired by the beat and what Doom did with it that it made me want to give it a shot.

This track was fun to make.. I wrote over a beat then sent the vox to Melvin Junko to make a beat around it and mix the vocals.. This is what he came up with. First time making a song this way. It is also the first time recording myself.

My dear friend Camden Chamberlain came to me with this music and chorus. He had lost someone close to him a couple weeks prior. I already had a concept for this song also inspired by a loss. We are very attached to this song and we are glad to pay homage. To the wonderful human beings that inspired this song and to the wonderful human beings that deserve a song, We love you.

So Far Away

This is a track that has a cool little story... Burnell and I were touring our way back home one a beautiful end of summer drive from Portland OR. While making our way along the Columbia River Burny comes to the front of the van and puts headphones on me. It hit me immediately and I said, "Thats the best beat you've ever shown me. Ill write to it right now." Burny probably said something like, "No way. I'm so stoked." cause thats how he does. By the time we got like 2 hours out from Salt Lake City I had this written.
