Constant hustling can destroy the things that mean a lot to us, such as close friendships. When I Am There Who Else Will Be - like all songs of my upcoming debut EP - was written in isolation in a small room in London and to me it sounds exactly the way it felt. I've been working and sacrificing a lot to follow my dream. Sometimes, especially when I miss my family and friends in Austria, I'm wondering if it's worth it. But it definitely is. Need to remind myself that I'm not doing it for myself - I'm doing it for ALL OF US and the generations to come. Feeling the responsibility to change the world can feel like a heavy weight. But I'm more and more becoming the person who's able to carry that weight. I'm still a six year old boy who doesn't allow the world to change him and I don't ever want that to change. If you're chasing something and feel like giving up I recommend you take a break to check in with yourself. Why are you doing it? Find a goal that's bigger than yourself - find something that benefits others. Respect that there are ups and downs and be kind to yourself - still working on that part myself. 🫀

When I Am There Who Else Will Be

Seeking is the most personal song I’ve ever written and it still touches me every single time I listen to it. It talks about chasing dreams, the price you pay for it and refusing to give up. It’s also about changing perspective - maybe our “every day struggle” is something we can learn to appreciate?

I wrote Seeking in March, at a time where I felt how overwhelming and lonely it can be for an independent artist to write, arrange and produce your own songs whilst trying to make a living. I dedicate this song to everyone who’s working towards something that’s bigger than themselves. It may be hard at times but we always lift our head up and keep going - cause at the end of the day we know it’s worth the pain. 
Seeking is a song that helped me during tough times and I hope it will help you too.
