After hearing the National Anthem sung by a young lady in the halls of the Lincoln Memorial, it made me remember my own Anthem, “Lift Every Voice And Sing” aka the “Negro National Anthem.”  This is not the same Anthem released in 2010, “Ima Nhigaa and Prhoud (Dhe Anthem).”  I remember singing  it from my schools days from years ago.  

Then I heard that the Ricky Smiley Morning Show (Hot 107.9) would play submissions of the Negro Anthem, written by James Johnson and his brother John who say, We must be true to Our GOD and Native Land. 

I'm sending my version in aren't you?  

This arrangement takes it out of the traditional flavor and Put it into 2016 Rhythm to Move (R2M).   This new Beat will help Black youth learn not only the song but most importantly, the words.

The words are to be mostly interpreted for now and not the pass.  Thus making the song “R2M da Negro National Anthem” an educational tool as well.   There is also a version of the National Anthem, (“Rhythm to Move da Star Spangled Banner”).   See ain't no prejudice or no hating.
