The city doesn’t sleep—it counts: a broken kick like boots in gravel, the snare laying down law on 2/4. Two 303s speak in turn—one low and stubborn, one sharp and toxic—like sirens through steel bays. No nostalgia, only forward drive; a red slash on the ground points one way. At bar 129 the breath stalls, then everything drops back into the dark.
