I feel like I’m finally tuning back into my true calling. It’s an absolute gift to be able to do this, and to think I was mentored by the Miss Alicia Keys herself in New York just a few years earlier with Guy Sebastian.

It’s incredible to think humans can sync up like this. Sometimes it clicks, sometimes it doesn’t. But when it does, it's a deep spiritual experience of some kind for me. 

Like when she catches that last note on “Nothing at all” at the very last second—it just makes me feel so wavy, LOL. It’s unexpected, smart, and beautiful in her part. 

She laughs at the end because she knew exactly what I did musically to resolve the song the way I did, and she let me.

Music is beautiful.
