Breathtaking vocals with a tone to die for, coupled with addictive melodies and genius lyrics, are the name of the game with SAI (pronounced ‘say’, a backronym for ‘Sing About It’). Over the moon talented and obsessed with music since the age of 6, her piano-playing  ability and song-writing skills have been sought after by the likes of Ariana Grande, for whom she wrote a song on her debut album. 

A captivating performer, SAI was invited to sing at the legendary Maida Vale studios in London by BBC Radio who also approached her to represent the UK for Eurovision in 2019. She has supported US platinum-selling RnB heavyweights Ne-Yo, Brandy and Ashanti on their respective UK Tours and was handpicked by BoyzIIMen themselves to tour with them in 2019. She has collaborated with chart-topping US producers/writers (Harmony Samuels, Eric Bellinger, DJ Camper, Autumn Rowe…), and a performance on YouTube got her an invitation from Brian McKnight to write and record a song at his home in L.A – quite a feat for a girl from Manchester! The London scene has also fully embraced her; she has jumped on tracks with artists like Chipmunk and Wretch32, and collaborated with some of the UK’s finest producers (Diztortion, Naughty Boy, Parker Ighile, M-22). She has opened the show for UK gem James Arthur and landed her 1st ever publishing deal with London based publisher Phrased Differently. 

Currently locked away in the studio, SAI is about to treat us to her new EP for which she has joined forces with some of the UK’s hottest talents (ADP, 808bhav808, Rapper Young Spray…). When asked to describe her sound, she smiles: “heart-felt but chilled new soul, with touches of old-school RnB”, a sound that she has made her own, combining just enough reminiscence of that sugar soul we miss from the 90’s and the badass attitude a woman needs to stay on top in 2021!

Her 1st single “Million Bucks” was released in August 2020, with 51k streams on Spotify to date, it was premiered by Link Up TV and gained BBC1xtra’s title of ‘Record Of The Week’ as chosen by Mistajam. The official video was premiered by CLASH Magazine in October 2020 and she was invited by River Island to perform her 2 freshly released singles “Million Bucks” and “High” for the 1st time live on their IGTV in November 2020.
