Shereece Thompson - Fuck With Ya (New Demo 2022) (July 2022)

Shereece, is an aspiring singer/songwriter & music cover artist born and raised in South East London.

In 2006, When Shereece was 15 years old, she auditioned for teen’s fame academy, a singing talent search that took place In Peckham, on Old Bellenden Primary School Road. But unfortunately, didn’t make it to the next stage, and was told to come back when her voice had developed and matured more.

In September 2016, Shereece created her own music Cover YouTube Channel titled '' Shereece Thompson '', for fun to showcase her singing vocal abilities, where she has covered numerous versions of other artists songs such as; Sam Smith, Cheryl Cole, Drake, Alexia Jordan, Katy Perry, N-Dubz, Bebe Rexha, James Bay & many more.

Shereece's passion for music started and developed at the very young age from 4/5, she grew up surrounded by all kids of music.

My mum is my greatest influence and inspiration for music. ''I grew up in a black Jamaican household where I heard my mum play music like; R&B, Reggae, Lovers Rock, 70s, 80s, Jungle, Garage, Motown, & Bashment''. ''I mainly grew up listening to a lot of 90s cheesy pop, and mostly R&B. But mainly 90 cheesy pop was the music I listened to all the time growing up as a young child.

Shereece started songwriting when she was just 10 years old, but at the time, it didn’t work out as she was too young, and the motivation was just not simply there, so she gave up on the idea. In September 2008, while studying at college age 17, Shereece decided to give it another shot at songwriting again which was a successful this time. 

Shereece took a break from songwriting in 2008, to focus on her studies and her career. And returned to songwriting in 2018, but never really took it serious. In 2019, that’s when she started taking songwriting serious again, and that’s when she wanted to make and record her own music.

I mostly sing pop and Rnb songs, but I also enjoy listening to quite a diverse mix of other genres from house, dance, disco, motown, soul, grime, dancehall, reggae, lovers rock, 80s, to rock.

Shereece is planning on releasing more singles, is currently working on recording, her first debut album at the moment, set to be released early 2024 or 2025.
