I lost a Friend this passed weekend. Just out of no where. I'm still in a state of shock. She was near and dear to my heart.
In trying to process it all, I just realize that whenever God decides to take me, I want to be ready. I want my work here on earth to be done. I don't want to go to the grave with all my ideas and dreams. I don't want to go to the grave with un-forgiveness or ought against my brother. I want to die knowing that my Father is pleased. ‪#‎iwannabeready‬

Thief

This song is not 100% about Orlando. But it definitely portrays the posture that I've been in for the past 6-7 months. I've experienced things that I've never thought I'd have to deal with.  It seems that high levels of spiritual doubt, insecurities, spiritually burn out, stress, depression, and betrayal had all flooded my life at once. And for one to be in a spiritual leadership position, it can be easy to portray freedom, peace, and faith with a big smile on your face; all the while suffering inside. And with all thats going on in this crazy world, it becomes hard not to question many things regarding faith. But no matter where I am on this journey, the posture of kneeling and going to the Father with my hearts cries will always be where I end up. 

This is plea for the Father to take us back to the moment when we "First Believed". Take us back to the stages where the fire and the zeal for God was real, pure, and untainted. Take us back to the child-like faith mentality. Restore the joy of our salvation.
