It's been 4 months since my latest label mix dedicated to Soul:r and over 3 and a half years since my very first vinyl mix which was for Metalheadz' 20th birthday. With so much quality music coming out on Headz I thought it's about time to do a part 2. As the first one was more old school oriented now this is focused mostly on the recent years but as always there are a few classics mixed here and there along the way. :) 40 tracks from some of the best artists in the genre, 2+ hours of quality music. Soulnd - XXIII Years Of Metalheadz (vinyl only mix)

It's been a while since my last participation in a DJ mix competition and the boys and girls from @FreeFromSleep are coming with one that is worth the time and effort! Massive shouts to all the headz worldwide spreading this music that we love. 

I gathered a bunch of records from my collection and the mix is quite a trip. As always I'm trying to keep things interesting by mixing tracks from different time periods and styles. The flight is taking off with a percy by Response and a wicked collab by Coco Bryce & Dead Man's Chest. Then we're moving into a couple of double drops with 2 lovely rollers by Naibu and Monty, Hyroglifics & Benabu. Things get deep with a gem by Synkro and an absolute classic by Marcus Intalex, ST Files, Calibre & DRS from the Mistical LP that came out on Soul:r in 2007. After that I got an oldschool Metalheadz classic by Codename John aka Grooverider from 23 years ago. The last 3 tunes are proper killers - got an ultra clean collab by Icicle & Commix, a banger by Homemade Weapons & MC Fokus and a stomping remix by the one and only dBridge. Enjoy!

I think that a quality DJ should know the history of the music that he is playing, and that DJ will always include some old tracks in the mix. I’m oriented mostly into the drum & bass, jungle and dubstep genres. My selection is versatile and you’ll always hear different tracks depending on the place and time of the set. I focus on the intelligent sound, which could be more melodic and lush or deep and dark.
