If honest, simple people are the salt of the earth, what is the salt of music? Could it be the emotional and deceptively simple ambient of FMSAO and his new album Salt FMSAO is Evgeny Shchukin, co-founder of Fuselab and the musician with many names. He produces eclectic electronic music as WOLS and abstract pop as part of duo Narcissi. His previous collaborations include Modul, Sofeet, Wetwe, Zaria and Feldmaus. The latter project, an ambient collective of Shchukin, Alexander ‘’Koett’’ Tochilkin and Sergey Suokas, served as the basis for FMSAO.

Although it is a solo project of Shchukin, it is a place of collaboration with other musicians. Here you can see joint works with AL-90 (post-rock sublime opener Berega), Проделки Больной Головы (almost danceable Naprav Etu Energiyu and Pips), Krikitoka & Barmazuta (caustic improv Mashina Vremeni), MFeld-T (glorious cinematic T-Ode 1229) and Dremming Stroze (nostalgic Slyozy). Соль is a monolith of an album. During its runtime, you will be deeply immersed in the world of FMSAO. The beauty of nature combines here with the artefacts of the foreseeable future. (You can see the sardonic side of this image in the name of the track Non-Fungible Forests). FMSAO’s music is captivating, sophisticated, and amusing. The salt of the music? Well, it’s honest, but not that simple.

система | system is happy to announce an Echo EP by Ukrainian Kyiv-based avant-pop artist Hanna Svirska. 
Echo EP is a 3-track release with 15 bonus pieces of sample lines for main tracks ( you can download it for FREE at our bandcamp ). Exhausting is the main subject of the opening track and in general, this topic runs through a lot of Hanna's records. As Hanna says all tracks were recorded out of the studio while the time of the artist's evacuation period in the west of Ukraine after the beginning of the war at the end of February. That's why all tracks were recorded in the Ableton. Vocals, poetry in Ukrainian, and a dreamy ambient sound recorded while the crazy emotional historical moment is leading this release.

The mission of this fund is to provide technology, training, and ammunition to help save the lives of Ukrainians and our soldiers. The album includes three tracks. I wrote the main part of the songs after February 24. At that time, I was evacuated to the west of Ukraine, and for creating music I had only me, my feelings, and a laptop. That is why there are no live instruments in the tracks, almost all parts are written by hand in Ableton. I wanted the EP to look like an old, forgotten record in grandma's attic, light lo-fi sound, and an ambient atmosphere. It is a work about love that heals and gives meaning to everything. Мені хотілося, щоб EP нагадувало стару, забуту на бабусиному горищі платівку, з легким lo-fi звучанням і атмосферою ембієнту. Це робота про кохання, що зцілює та надає всьому сенс. Саме це допомагає мені триматися зараз.
