As the darkness envelopes me, 
I cry out so desperately, 
for the one who can rescue me, 
from this atrocity, 
that has befallen me, 
but not of my own accord! 

As the water keeps rising, 
I am realizing, 
that it's not so surprising, 
how this uprising, 
is erroneously capsizing, 
as I cry out "Dear Lord!" 

Please come and save me, 
from this monstrosity, 
that is appraising me, 
to this new place you see, 
where I don't belong to be, 
and can't seem to escape! 

I'm drowning in her sea, 
of melancholy misery, 
that makes me try so earnestly, 
to find a way to rid me, 
of this intoxicatingly, prison of self-loathing and hate! 

As I keep clawing to the surface, 
I envision the hearses, 
that will disperse as, 
I lose the last of the air and I'm drowning! 

Surrounded on all sides, 
I look up to the skies, 
feeling so strongly it's my demise, 
is near and I say my goodbyes, 
as my soul dies, 
to the sound of my heart's thunderous pounding! 

I'm hated, I'm faded, I'm jaded, berated, castrated, in this belated, 
nightmare as she demonstrated, 
her emasocated, 
fantasies from a stalker's spurned love, that evaporated, 
to an insatiable lust for vengeance! 

She's tearing into my soul, 
putting the pieces into a bowl, 
to devour it in whole, 
her ultimate goal, 
keeps taking its toll, 
as the billows continuously roll, 
and I'm left as nothing in the mud! 

But, I won't let her, 
fetter me, 
until I am dead you see, 
I'll eat my way out cannibalistically, 
as I become the better me, 
in her sadistic fantasy, 
I won't be that easily baited! 

I refuse to be ironically, 
treated so sardonically, 
by a bionically, 
hypocritically, unrequitedly, insane "lover"! 

I'm quickly polishing my weapons for contumeliously, contumaciously, abrasively abolishing her illusions of falsehood from below to above her, 
'til I am no longer encapsulated!

I was initially introduced to Danny Brown through his former DJ Bet Lemos. The Hip Hop community in the city was a relatively small group of artists, over time we built a relationship and worked together on a few events providing him a platform to showcase his talent. His tour had just ended and he came directly from the airport, jumped on the mic and and gave it that grease, done deal. I've been lucky enough to watch his growth and call him a friend. Made with the Akai MPC 2K, two Moog records, a fifth of Henny and a gang of blunts. Enjoy
