Ambient album Long Whale Song by russian musician Symphocat was released on the label Simphonic Silence Inside at number 158. The album includes 10 songs with a total duration of more than 2 hours. "...Long, far, drawn-out songs of whales, all these epithets are well applicable for this release in which I wanted to reveal the sensual, submerged and vulnerable side of perception of the world. Whales for me as a prototype of inner loneliness, willpower, desire to learn and find their way in the ocean of life, to swim to the beckoning lighthouses and new shores. Of course I would like to note the social significance of the album, as these compositions drawing attention to the pollution of the oceans. Once again to remind of violation of an eco-system of a planet, invasion of a civilization and harmful influence on the natural process. It is also worth adding that the compositions are made in the style of ambient 80s, the times when the sea was plowed by the researcher Jacques-Yves Cousteau on the ship Calypso.
