Hollywood (also known as The Beat Rebel) is a multi-talented singer-songwriter/producer who rose to international stardom with his chart-topping single “Believer.”

Born Shamar Brown on February 6th, 1991, the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native moved to Winston Salem at the age of 9, only later to meet his God-Brother and long time friend, D'Andre "Barz" Mitchell leading him to fall in love with music. 

After posting music on numerous blog sites Hollywood was discovered in 2008 by fans worldwide, later to form The Future Productions with business partner Tobias Russell. Hollywood released his debut single “Show Me Love” independently in 2012, selling 4500 copies the first week, only to create his debut album "Rings Of Jupiter". 

Hollywood began writing in-house for multiple artists, and producing locally. Shortly thereafter, he was featured on hit singles such as Jay Mars' "FWM", as well as Young Bridgeport's "My City" (produced by Hollywood) thus creating a buzz not only in Winston Salem, but surrounding cities as well.

Hollywood is currently working on his forthcoming album as well as writing & producing for other major artists.
