"....This is the first music the audience hears when the lights go out in the theatre after everyone is seated. Another improvisation I recorded on the Lyra-8, and ended up using for the score. When I received this mysterious machine I recorded some music with it, and all of those recordings made it to the performance. Fun fact: the Lyra is made in Russia just like the original ballet and the Tchaikovsky score.

This album is an adaptation of the score I wrote for Sleeping Beauty Dreams, a high-tech audiovisual dance performance starring Diana Vishneva and was originally composed for a 32 channel surround sound system.” – Thys
