I started producing these hard beats and synths, but still wanted to implement a feeling that repetitively burns into people's mind on the dance floor. Along with my friend AEYA we categorised some stages into "darkness" (nightlife and the typical club surroundings), "intensity" (walls of sound, strobes, escalating people), "oblivion" (getting lost in the situation), "unconsciousness" (physical collapse) and what you see next, a blazing bright light that suddenly surrounds you, "brightness". I recorded AEYA's voice saying these words, added a tinnitus sound which starts at 3:25 or heavily after the second drop at 5:13 and the track was finished. 

Brightness: I always loved uncompromising, straight techno music with dark attitude. When I recently had this interview with techno pioneer and former Mayday artist Christopher Just on my techno radio show „Sophisticated Rhythms“ on Evosonic Radio, we spoke about raves and events, especially in the 90s where people totally escalated on these still revolutionary new sounds until they sometimes even collapsed. I am a child of this era, too and wanted to create a track that reflects the different stages of such an experience.

Nobody Knows: I am a fan of inconclusive utterances. I started producing “Nobody Knows“ to reflect people's ignorance in understanding things in so many ways, but think they know it all . The sounds that I used give the track a certain drive and energy, but leaves listeners a little bit in the dark at the same time, due to their dissonance style. There's a bunch of melancholy paired with influences of dark Detroit stabs that create an ultimate and deep club feeling. I loved the idea of bringing these banging old school hihats into the game after the tracks' buildup at 0:55 and to generate a kind of unpredictable sound with the low-frequency synth that evolves here and therre and leads throughout the track. The threatful voice has been added as a final element. It's my own one, layered, down-pitched and passed through diverse filters.
