JuWana “Tokk” Huenayha McChristion is a young Black female artist. Originally born in Grenada, MS on the January 02, 1987. At the mere age of two, McChristion was broueght to California with both her mother and grandmother by her side. Settling in South Central, Los Angeles yet more specifically 88th Street and Vermont, McChristion knew at a young age that she had a gift for entertaining and artistic endeavors. From dancing to comedy to fashion and even music, she always knew that she had a passion for creative endeavors. However, her love for music is what really makes her sing. She always gravitated toward music as a form of expression because it allows her to feel and emote in wonderful ways. 

“Tokk” has always been a writer. At the age of 14 is when she began her writing career and she is not shy to write about her real life experiences. She enjoys writing about her childhood, her everyday circumstances, her hustle and work ethic, and the importance of ambition coupled with the need or responsibility of taking care of family and success.

McChristion’s musical sound falls underneath the cultural phenomenon that is Hip-Hop. More specifically, the genre of music that she produces is Rap and R&B that is heavily influenced by the streets and the party scene. Other artist that inspire McChristion are  Da Brat, Missy Elliott, YoYo, T.I., Eve, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne to name a few. Lil Wayne being her
