Enlisted as the front running DJ of Stranjah's Rumpshakers collective, Typical Cat has been constantly evolving her sound as the boundaries of bass music continue to expand.  Her bouncey debut 'Booty Pop' displays her knack for what sounds good in the studio and on the dancefloor, translated from years of mixing jungle, house and bass since the late 90's initially under the tutelage of DJ Grouch. 'Booty Pop' is a fusion of Chicago house laced with YouTube vocal chops tipping her hat to various themes in today's pop culture.  A humble beginning, we're excited to see what else is in store this feline queen of bass.

The massive event was held at the new location at 500 Keele St. on November 12, 2016.  The entire space was transformed into an immersive, imaginary swamp by visionary artists Noir Basteast.
