Expressing my femininity through music has been empowering, but the industry’s pervasive disrespect and objectification of women demand change. Personal targeting has created toxic work environments for myself and fellow FLINTA individuals, crossing boundaries into a severe lack of professionalism, safety and respect.

That’s why I’m committed to fostering an inclusive community.

Internalised misogyny perpetuates harmful beliefs about women, hindering gender equality. It’s important to challenge these stereotypes and advocate for all individuals’ rights and agency.

It’s sad to admit that only 20% off my tracklist was made up of FLINTA producers. This mix is about embodiment. It is an expression of me stepping into my sensuality and femininity without being concerned about being objectified (sexually) by others.

I strongly recommend finding more FLINTA artists by going onto SoundCloud and seeing who your favourite artists follow. This is my method and I found so many amazing producers with a similar sound this way. Instagram was a great way to further explore these artists and their stories!
