Argentinian DJ and producer Toomy Disco makes his debut on the label with two fresh tracks that fuse the groovy warmth of House with the driving energy of Minimal and Deep-Tech. Active since 2007 and a consistent presence in the South American and European underground scenes, Toomy continues to craft his signature sound made for the dancefloor. With growing international recognition, Toomy Disco is a rising name in the global house scene.

...well, I guess THIS Interbay track won't get any play on terrestrial radio.  

This house track has a skip, a bounce, and a chorus that includes the f-word.  It could hardly NOT include the f-word, considering the source of the vocal samples here (taken from the FAR superior original UK version of a popular US tv show--and no, I'm not talking about The Office.)  

Can you mix food and dance music?  Well, it's not like swimming, where we're told not to do it until an hour after eating (though that's since been proven to be meaningless advice.)  I think this latest Interbay track proves that you can--especially if it is lovely, perfectly cooked, linguini...from La Laterna in Letchworth.  

...which sadly isn't there any more.  (A fate shared by most of the establishments featured on that show--though, on my honeymoon, I did take the opportunity to have some Yorkshire Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and Real Gravy at one of the most memorable establishmments that was on that show...and it was absolutely delicious.  That place, too, is now no longer in business.)  

As far as the music here, it's a pretty straightforward house track--as I mentioned, there's a skip to it--but that doesn't make it UK Garage.  It's not that--though, considering the vocal sample source, wouldn't have been the worst idea, come to think of it.  Maybe a remix in that direction at some point?  

I like the arrangement here--it has good structure, the sounds are chosen well (I think), and there is upwards progression through the song, which...is a good thing if you happen to be dancing to this and the dj isn't too busy in the mix (guilty as charged with that--which makes me wonder what I would do if these Interbay tracks were available when I was dj'ing.  I'd probably find new and interesting ways to scramble them all up--that's what I did with OTHER people's music.)

One of the latest talents to emerge from the south-east of England, Wheels is a Kent-based multi-genre DJ/Producer. Known more commonly for his blend of Deep, Tech and Bassline. Wheels prides himself on his ability to instil consistency in his performances, driving hard and robust basslines mixed with deep melodic grooves.
 
Since establishing himself a mere seven years ago, he has already conquered many a milestone in the journey of an up and coming artist. Wheels has secured a residency on the industry-leading Data Transmission Radio, where he hosted his own show. He has also had several releases on labels such as Set Tripp’n (USA), Open House Records (UK), Chuggy Traxx (Denmark), Frequency Deep (UK) and has built a great foundation of his works to progress as an artist.
 
Wheels has already amassed a fair amount of club and festival exposure too, with appearances at the likes of Ministry of Sound, Egg London, The Source Bar and the UK’s leading House and Techno festival, WE ARE FSTVL. A steady flow of bookings at such highly-regarded venues has seen Wheels support artists like Sam Divine, Hoxton Whores, Skream, Doorly, Sonny Fodera, Idris Elba, Jonathan Ulysses and many more on a frequent basis.
 
Following on from his exposure within clubland, Wheels has also given life to his own events platform, ‘Vision’. A stage for him to showcase some of the best up and coming regional talent and provide an opportunity for other aspiring DJs and producers alike. In his most recent success, Wheels has joined Frequency Deep Recordings, as their A&R Rep.
 
Undoubtedly heading in the right direction, spending every spare minute in the studio and performing to the masses; Wheels is an artist displaying vast dedication and potential for the future!
