The theme of this song is about the consequences of putting others first. I'm Sorry talks about the burnout and exhaustion I've experienced during a chaotic time in my life. I tend to put others first and neglect myself for the sake of those around me. This then results in me not wanting to do anything, wishing I would've just listened to myself.
